Annette Von Stetten, Practice Manager Annette joined the practice in 2008. She is a Delaware native. She has twenty years experience in the financial field and in business management. She holds her degree in management and marketing. Annette enjoys daily walks with her husband and dogs. She also enjoys the great outdoors and fishing.
Terri Dove, Office Manager Terri joined the practice in 1990. Her pets include a Golden Retriever, Clancy and 2 cats, Skittles and Simon. Outside of work Terri spends a lot of time at dog shows and helping out clients at the shows!
Sharon Wyatt, Business Manager, Groomer Sharon joined the practice in 1987. Her pets include a Rottweiler named Lexie, a yellow lab named Butter, a 17 year old DLH named Katie, and a black and white DSH named Socks. She is married to Bob, has a daughter named Lyndsey, stepdaughters Sharon and Amy, and 2 grandsons Alex and Matthew. She enjoys watching and playing tennis, is a Phillies fan (watches on tv and at the ballpark). She likes to help Bob with the racehorses on the weekends and at the races. She also loves to travel.
Becky Borntreger, LVT, Licensed Veterinary Technician Becky joined the practice in 2001. Her areas of interest are dentistry and dermatology. Her pets include two German Shepherds (Sage and Seneca) and a Maine Coone mix (Casey). In her free time she likes to read and travel. She earned a B.S. in Animal and Poultry Science from Delaware State University in 2007.
Jen Chubb, Receptionist/Veterinary Technician Jen joined the practice 2009. She has several dogs, goats, cats and a horse. She likes to spend her free time gardening!
Amanda Halley, Veterinary Technician Amanda joined the practice in 2004. Her various pets include Ruckus, Luna, and Bogart. Amanda is also canine massage therapy certified! In her free time she likes to ride her horses.
Nicole Jackson, Student/Veterinary Technician Nicole joined the practice in 2007. She has 5 horses (Ali, Abby, Star, Jake, Sweet B) and 2 dogs (Halli and Hannah). Nicole has shown dairy cows for over 6 years. She has been riding and showing horses since she was 8 years old. A graduate of Smyrna High, Nicole graduated from Delaware State University in 2009, with a major in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She is currently attending vet school at Iowa State University.
Karen Green LVT, Veterinary Technician Karen joined the practice in 2006, though has been a veterinary technician for over 20 years. Her favorite aspects of veterinary medicine include surgery and radiology. She is married and loves to spend all her free time with their son. She has 2 dogs and 2 cats.
Michelle Johnson, Groomer's Assistant Michelle joined the practice in 1994. She has one pitbull, one lab, and 5 cats. She enjoys reading, taking the dogs for walks with her husband, and going to the drag races.
Allison Lindsay, Receptionist Allison joined the practice
January 2011. My pets include a crazy Shih Tzu named Daphne and her best
friend Tanner the cat. I spend my free time hiking and trying to travel
as much as possible.
Alisha Mackie, Receptionist Alisha joined the practice in 2009. She enjoys spending time with her Chihuahua, Roxy and her two cats Joie and Pencey. She starts school in the Spring and will be working towards her Communication Degree
Tom Marvel, Veterinary Technician Tom joined the practice in 1998. His pets include a Pomeranian (Maggie) and several finches and canaries. Tom attended the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY from 1977-1980 and the Naval War College from 1980-1982. He served in the US Navy fro 1980-1988. His areas of interest include surgery and dental cleaning. His hobbies include antique clocks, scuba diving, and 2z scale model trains.
Stacie Messick, Veterinary Technician Stacie joined the practice in 2011 as an employee, she volunteered and did her internship with Governors Avenue Animal prior to her being an employee. She is a Delaware native and graduated with an Associates Degree from Del-Tech and Community College. In her free time, she enjoys her pets, family and friends and the outdoors.
Pam McGinnis, LVT, Licensed Veterinary Technician Pam joined the practice in 2002. Pam has a particular interest in dentistry but loves every aspect of veterinary medicine. In her free time, she enjoys being at the barn. She graduated from Harcum Jr. College with a veterinary technician degree in 1979 and has been in the animal field since that time.
Gina Orsatt, Receptionist Gina joined the practice 2011. She shares her home with 4 dogs, 2 horses, 2 rabbits, cockatiel, chickens, and hog, Gloria. She has 3 daughters and grand-daughters, Ariana and Lexi. She enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time outdoors with her animals.
Christine Palombo, Receptionist Christine joined the practice 2011. She is a New York native who moved to Delaware for a more rural lifestyle. Her love of animals has drawn her to pursue an in-depth knowledge of the Veterinary world. She enjoys spending time with her Puggle, Jack and her Terrier mix, Oliver.
Chrissy Smith, Veterinary Technician Chrissy joined the practice in 2007, however, she has been the veterinary field since 1996. Her areas of interest include surgery and dental cleaning. Chrissy has 2 great sons. She enjoys the outdoors and wildlife.
Stephanie Stevens, Receptionist Stephanie joined the practice in 2007. Her pets include 2 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers (Gunner, Remmi), a Jack Russell mix (Brianna), a German Shepard (Drake), and a black cat (Seven). Stephanie grew up on a larger scale chicken farm. She has always loved animals and has worked in several different aspects of veterinary clinics, including as part of the kennel staff, as a receptionist and as a technician.
Sheikh M Toseef, Veterinary Assistant Toseef joined the practice in 2004. Unfortunately he can not have any pets at this time since his wife is extremely allergic! Toseef is a young 50+ years old. He has 3 children between 12 and 19 years of age. He graduated from the College of Veterinary Sciences Lahore, Pakistan in 1983. He has worked with livestock production, mainly chicken production, in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He moved to the United States in 1999. Since switching over from livestock, he has learned a lot about dog and cat health and behavior, particularly pet behavior in the hospital situation!
